xcode/unused-assets
Finds asset sets that no source or Xcode build setting names.
Part of the xcode configuration, at the all level. It runs at the commit stage, once per scope. gspot runs this check itself.
An asset nobody names ships in the app for nothing.
What to do
Section titled “What to do”Delete the asset, or name it in the code that loads it. For an asset that the app picks at run time, run gspot ignore xcode/unused-assets --rule unused-asset --paths <glob> --reason "<why>".
Example
Section titled “Example”An asset set that no source file or build setting names reports unused-asset. Delete it, or reference it where the app loads it.
Turn it off
Section titled “Turn it off”Turn it off for some files, with a reason:
gspot ignore xcode/unused-assets --paths "<glob>" --reason "<why>"
