# xcode/plutil

## Why

A broken plist fails the build or, worse, ships an app whose settings silently fell back to defaults.

## What to do

Fix the element plutil names.

## Example

A plist with an unclosed dictionary fails plutil. Close the dictionary element.

## Turn it off

Turn it off for some files, or one of its lint rules, with a reason:

```shell
gspot ignore xcode/plutil --paths "<glob>" --reason "<why>"
gspot ignore xcode/plutil --rule <rule> --reason "<why>"
```
