# supabase/deno-lint

Part of the [`supabase`](/reference/configurations/supabase/) configuration, at the `recommended` [level](/start/concepts/#levels). It runs at the `commit` [stage](/start/concepts/#stage), once per scope. It runs deno.

## Why

Edge functions run under Deno, and its linter covers runtime APIs that the Node rules miss.

## What to do

Change the code the way the rule says; `deno lint --rules` explains each one.

## Example

An Edge Function declaring `var greeting = "hello";` reports `no-var`. Use `const greeting = "hello";` instead.

## Turn it off

Turn it off for some files, with a reason:
