# supabase/deno-check

Part of the [`supabase`](/reference/configurations/supabase/) configuration, at the `recommended` [level](/start/concepts/#levels). It runs at the `push` [stage](/start/concepts/#stage), once per scope. It runs deno.

## Why

The project compiler cannot resolve the import map of a function, so only Deno can check its types.

## What to do

Fix the first error Deno prints; later ones often come from the same mistake.

## Example

An edge function that assigns a string to a number variable reports a type error. Correct the value or the type.

## Turn it off

Turn it off for some files, with a reason:
