site/unused-assets

Finds files under an assets folder that no page, stylesheet, or script names.

Part of the site configuration, at the all level. It runs at the push stage, once per scope. gspot runs this check itself.

An unreferenced asset ships with every deploy, and nobody dares to delete it.

Delete the file.

An image that no built page or stylesheet references reports an unused asset. Delete it from the source assets, and rebuild.

Turn it off for some files, with a reason:

gspot ignore site/unused-assets --paths "<glob>" --reason "<why>"
