naming/paths
Checks every file stem and folder name against the case rules of its language and the banned words.
Part of the naming configuration, at the all level. It runs at the commit stage, per file. gspot runs this check itself.
A file such as enhanced-utils.ts collects code with no clear place. One case rule keeps imports predictable.
What to do
Section titled “What to do”Rename the file or folder, or add a path rule under [[naming.override]] with a reason.
Example
Section titled “Example”utils/format.js reports utils. Move it into the folder of the feature it serves, such as invoices/format.js.
Turn it off
Section titled “Turn it off”Turn it off for some files, with a reason:
gspot ignore naming/paths --paths "<glob>" --reason "<why>"
