github-actions/actionlint
Checks every GitHub Actions workflow with actionlint: syntax, expressions, action inputs, and shell steps.
Part of the github-actions configuration, at the recommended level. It runs at the commit stage, per file. It runs actionlint.
A workflow error surfaces on the first push after the change, in CI, where it costs a round trip.
What to do

Example

Turn it off
Section titled “Turn it off”Turn it off for some files, or one of its lint rules, with a reason:
