format/prettier
Checks each file Prettier handles for unformatted code.
Part of the format configuration, at the recommended level. It runs at the commit stage, per file. It runs prettier. gspot check --fix fixes what it can.
Formatting by hand differs by editor; one formatter keeps diffs about the change and not the spacing.
What to do
Section titled “What to do”Run gspot check --fix to format every file, or prettier --write on one file.
Example
Section titled “Example”A JavaScript file with const value={enabled:true}; differs from the Prettier output. Run gspot check --fix to format it.
Turn it off
Section titled “Turn it off”Turn it off for some files, or one of its lint rules, with a reason:
