files/yamllint
Parses every YAML file and checks its indentation, keys, and values with yamllint.
Part of the files configuration, at the recommended level. It runs at the commit stage, per file. It runs yamllint.
A YAML file that parses to the wrong shape fails silently: a duplicated key wins, a stray tab changes the nesting.
What to do
Section titled “What to do”Fix the line yamllint names, or change rule options with gspot set tools.yamllint.rules.
Example
Section titled “Example”Two enabled keys in one YAML mapping report a duplicate key. Keep one, and delete the other.
Turn it off
Section titled “Turn it off”Turn it off for some files, or one of its lint rules, with a reason:
gspot ignore files/yamllint --paths "<glob>" --reason "<why>"gspot ignore files/yamllint --rule <rule> --reason "<why>"
